When Jim & I first started going out we both discussed the idea of making a cork board out of old wine bottle corks, as we were both collecting them...and we've been in the process of doing it for ages, it didn't take too long once we actually pulled our fingers out and finished it off, so here it is in all it's glory and doesn't it look awesome?? I love it!
We've just finally nailed it to our wall in the dining room next to the kitchen, so can't wait to get pinning things to it, If you decide you want to make one too all we did was chop the corks in half (length-ways) with a bread knife & glue-gunned them to the MDF board. The picture frame was left over from a few years ago & the glass had smashed, so rather than let it go to waste, we created this!
